Rene Martell

Rene

Rene was educated in the UK and earned a degree in Physical Education. She taught for 20 years, teaching students from elementary to junior college level in the UK and USA.

In 1991 she trained as a Massage Therapist and worked at the University of Texas Pain Center at Hermann Hospital in Houston for 5 years.  Her work there with chronic pain patients led her into the field of Cymatic and Bioenergetic Medicine as well as Clinical Nutrition and Neuro Emotional Technique.

She trained with Dr. Sir Peter Guy Manners from the UK. who was the pioneer of Cymatic therapy and earned a PHD in Cymatic and Bioenergetic Medicine through the Open International University for Complementary Medicine. She has successfully used Cymatic therapy as an adjunct to other modalities in her practice since 1994.

Her interest in clinical nutrition led her to the study of CRA and training with the post graduate section of Parker Chiropractic College. Several years ago she studied and trained in the Nutrition Response Testing method.  In addition to NRT she is also incorporating restorative endocrinology into her practice and offers saliva testing and hair analysis.

In December of 2010 she completed the Applied Clinical Nutritional Program with the Texas Chiropractic College.

Her philosophy is based on the premise that she serves as a gateway to improved health using NRT. Restorative Endocrinology, Applied Kinesiology and Neuro-emotional Technique.

Education and support for all clients during this restoration period is a priority.

She has been in private practice since 1995.

Dr. Jason Asks some important questions of interest to Fairbanks Houston residents - Chiropractor Fairbanks Houston Dr. Jason Asks...

What's the difference between sick care and health care?
Sick care is largely about relieving or suppressing symptoms. Health care is about improving performance. While sick care is about how you feel, health care is about how you function. Sick care is what you do to treat an obvious problem, and health care is what you do to avoid the problem and advance your well-being.
Why does chiropractic work?
Chiropractic works because your nervous system, consisting of your brain, spinal cord and all the nerves of your body, controls and regulates every cell, tissue, organ and system of your body. A chiropractor locates and reduces areas of nervous system compromise (usually along the spine) so your capacity to heal is restored. Chiropractic works by helping your body work as it was designed.
